If u can locate Taman Sutera then it brings u right to d place. Its difficult for us because there’s no sign board until u reached end of the block 🙂↕️ So disappointed because the price we paid didnt allow us to stay in the mushroom. Its only for rooms next to the office🙂↕️ plz make sure u choose the right room if u want to experience stay in the mushrrom. Well, we got the pics but thats not where we stay🙂↕️

I have never written a review, but I have to say a few words this time. Let me just talk about my feelings. Sister Ping is really warm and nice. She would arrange a car to take us whether we were leaving for the town or rushing to the pier in the morning. She also helped us process the seafood we bought at night for free (PS: her craftsmanship is really good, especially the spicy crab). To be honest, I have been out for more than 10 days, and this is the first time I feel at home here. There is nothing to say. As for the accommodation environment, I understand it this way. Semporna itself is a very small town, and we basically go island hopping every day. We go out very early, and it is dark when we come back after dinner. We go back to sleep. I think cleanliness and hygiene are enough. And quietness is the most important thing. A good sleep can make a better departure the next day. So I prefer the environment of Mushroom House, which is far away from the town.

The room size is OK, but there are a lot of bugs on the upper windows. They got rid of it after spraying.
There is no problem standing in the middle of the second floor. When standing on the left and right sides, Xiaotudou also has to bend down. If it is too high, it may be... The socket next to the bed is good and can be plugged directly without a converter.
The air conditioner makes the first floor very cold, but the second floor is average. You have to turn on the fan.
The toilet is OK, the space and water outlet are large, but the wash basin is a bit old.

The Wi-Fi is average, not divided by room number, everyone can use it. Sometimes the signal is very poor, maybe there are many people using it at the back.
You can tell the boss in advance when you go in and out, and she will arrange a car to take you there, which is good. There is only one restaurant and one grocery store nearby, and you can drive to the supermarket in 2-3 minutes.

Staying in a duplex mushroom house was better than expected, but the accommodation conditions in Semporna are just like that. There were a few mosquitoes on the first day, but the mosquito coils killed them all. There were geckos on the next two days, but we just left them alone.

***? Why is there even a fckin millipede in the bathroom?! And I fckin stepped on it :) The place is so dirty, they told us to take off our shoes before going in but the floor was alrd dirty as hell with marks on the floor. Why is it dirty? They sweeped the dirt of our rooms out and leave them at the corridor only… HERE’S THE WORST PART!! They include transportation to the jetty which is good but we told them to wait for us at KFC to take away food then only send us to our final destination, which they agreed to wait for us too. After 15mins, when we went out the car was no where to be found. We then called the owner only to know that both of them HAD WENT BACK TO THE HOMESTAY :) WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS?? we were in a rush so we grabbed to the jetty at the end…
